Eagles to Play for NCCAA Mid-East Title
Wilmore, KY---The Asbury College women's soccer team will travel to Campbellsville University tomorrow, Tuesday November 18th to take on the Tigers for the NCCAA Mid-East Region Title at 2pm. The Eagles won the KIAC but chose to not continue in the NAIA Championships.
Asbury (11-8-1) lost to Campbellsville earlier in the season 2-1 in overtime at home. That was the third game of the season and the Eagles have played much better to close out the season. Asbury has won 11 of their last 16 after losing their first four.
The Eagles have competed in the NCCAA National Tournament three times before, 2004-2006. The winner of the Mid-East will travel to Kissimmee, Florida for the national tournament December 3-6.
